Writing Experience:

The role of the Hindu newspaper describes some new experiences had after leaving his native place. As PV mentioned in one of these Knols, he slowly shifted his writing from Malayalam to English. A good number of his works were published in the print media, and PV procured many literary prizes for his writings.  His work has appeared in newspapers, weeklies, magazines and on the web, mainly on the Christian religion and the Bible. PV also concentrated on subjects like current affairs and politics with many of his political articles appearing in different print media. Some of them can be read at this link:
PV has been a reporter and contributor to Malayalam weeklies and Christian magazines and has been a regular contributor to the web since 2007.

P V's Experience With Google's Knol

PV joined the Knol platform in September 23rd 2008 after an introduction by a top Knol author. PV was inactive for quite sometime, however he has recently started contributing  Knols and comments. The response was encouraging and so PV decided to carry on.  PV found the Knol experience to be interesting and enlightening, particularly in interacting with people here. Although PV had some unpleasant experiences, these turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it helped PV to push on with more vigor and enthusiasm.
Within a short time span PV made it to the ‘Top Viewed Author Award’ list. Now he felt that he could make worthwhile, encouraging  and thoughtful comments and also write reviews of other authors at knol.  Now a days, whenever PV gets the opportunity, he introduces Knol and the wonderful activities going on here to his friends and colleagues.  PV encourage his web contacts to join the Knol community and to post their knowledge in their respective areas.
Although knol is still in its infancy, thousands of contributors have already joined and it is a fast growing website.  To secure genuine and trustworthy information about anything in this universe, PV believes that Knol is no doubt the best bet. There has been a good response to his call to join Knol and a few authors are already here, posting Knols at his invitation and doing a tremendous job.  Some of them have even obtained top positions on Knol.

Engagements With International Writers:

Before joining Knol PV was an active member and source producer for the site called Associatedcontent.com (AC).  He really enjoyed being with people there and had good rapport with some friends.  From AC, PV secured a good number of contacts in the writing field and he still maintains those relationships today. Two of the AC authors interviewed him. His first interview was with Mr. Donald Pennington of USA. Donald is an active member and source/content producer/contributor at AC, and a top 1000 and Hot 500 badge holder. Read more @ this link about that interview. Ladies and gentlemen P.V.Ariel
Another interview was published at AC by another Associated content writer Sheryl Young. She is a well known Jewish author and freelance writer and a three time Amy Foundation “Roaring Lambs” Writing Award Winner. She is also a Concerned Women for America 2002 Special Projects Award recipient. Sheryl is the Author of the book “What Every Christian Should Know About The Jewish People” Read more @ this link. Sheryl Young

Knol day of IE is a success. We can make India knol day a big success. Say 1000 page views in a day. We are monitoring knols everyday for trending knols. We very rarely see a 1000 page view day. Can we build one 1000 pv per day knol. Let us try.

Philip --

Looking at your photos, I think you need a new flat screen and a better chair. Good luck! KPG members look forward to improvements in your many Knols. You might want to consider removing the weakest Knols, the ones that are not earning traction. You can unpublish them rather than deleting. Then you can improve and republish, hoping for better performance.
